Gita Mawarsih says:

Hi Ochikeron, I’m Gita and I’m such a big fan! Hihi. I was wondering… It’s easy enough to get non-alcoholic mirin, so this should present no problem. But for Sake… Can you suggest an alternative to sake? Vinegar is not a good substitute because I think Vinegar makes things sour. Thank youuu dear!

Thank you for your videos! You make cooking look very fun ans easy. Can you explain/show us the pot you fry your food in. It’s round one the edges and I haven’t been able to find one like that in Los Angeles. Is the red part an attachment? What is the name for it? It looks like it has a special hole to place the thermometer into as well.

CocoPokiStix says:

Excuse me, But is there a substitute for sake or anything alcohol?

you said you can use white wine instead of sake. it’s in this recipe or in all sake can be replased by white wine?

KaiHimotama says:

I think the sake is more for a taste thing. I did a recipe that called for mirin and sake. I don’t have any of those and skipped them, but it still tasted amazing.

epicthings19 says:

can I skip the white wine/sake part?
